I just love life, and capturing it from every angle. For me, photography is about capturing moments in life that evoke emotion, memories, and inspiration. Children, Families, High School Seniors, I love 'em all! But I've gotta say, there's something powerful and emotional about photographing Weddings. Weddings are my favorite, and I get misty-eyed every time I see the look on a groom's face as his bride walks down the isle. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I just love telling the story of the most important day in a couples lives through my photography. You know the saying, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage! Children are a close second favorite. Kids and I have a connection. I like them and they like me. Maybe it's because I have just as much energy as they do, or maybe it's because I am just a big dorky kid myself, but there is something so satisfying about capturing the essence of a child. Innocence, joy, whimsy. Sometimes it just takes a child to remind you of these. My three children have been my inspiration, my muses, if you will. I also get a lot of support from my husband who is my best friend and assistant on the job! As business has become overwhelming for this one-woman-operation, he has joined me as a husband-wife team, assisting on the job and at home. I can never thank him enough for helping me live my dreams. Since becoming a husband-wife team, Heather Lynn Photographie has expanded with the addition of TraLa Studios and some awesome new photographers, so that I can focus on weddings & on-location jobs that I love, while accommodating children and families in my boutique studio located in Downtown Snohomish.

Buddy-Buddy Senior Session

Ileana and Peter are very different, but they have so much in common…ok, not that much in common, but they do share one very cool thing…a birthday! Ileana and Peter are twins and the got their Senior Photos done together! We met at my studio and walked around my stomping ground in Downtown Snohomish. My little location has become quite the popular spot! Not only do I get to shoot here with my studio conveniently located on Avenue A, but I have also seen a bunch of other photos being shot around town! That’s right, starting trends is what we do!Peter and Ileana are on their way to great things, and seem like awesome “models” to follow! Peter was great and ready for anything I wanted him to do, and Ileana came with her own creative ideas to mix in with some of the “trendy” shots we did downtown. I loved hanging out with these two!
