I recently had the brilliant idea to have a Baking themed birthday party for my 12-year-old. My blossoming young tween wanted a baking-ice-skating-painting-dance-slumber party…so we compromised and I let her have a few friends over the night before to participate in the preparations for her Baking Slumber Party!! Part of the “party” was in the experience of making all of the cake-pops and cookies the night before, together.

The girls had a blast {and I almost had a nervous breakdown with all that was going on at once, at volume 12, until 2 am…} We had lots and lots of help from my fabulous mixer {custom painted by the amazing Un Amore Designs} and I think the girls just liked having turns using it {I know it inspires ME to bake!!}. Bright and early in the morning, before the party, the girls made decorations with cupcake liners, and party favors with Cookies in a Jar. We even had time to mold edible PhotoBooth Props {lips and mustaches on a stick!}. My favorite touch!

I provided ideas and inspiration, and everything was homemade by the girls except the aprons! I really wanted to make those myself, but I am no wonder-woman…so I hired the wonder-woman at Rockin Bobbin to make my over-the-top adorable aprons and hat flowers {just got the chef hats at Micheals!} My youngest girls even got to dress up and be a part of the party! They all had the best time I could have ever imagined!! It was totally worth the hours spent on Pinterest and sleepless night with a house-full of aspiring Bakerellas

Meet Miss Morgan What a doll! This little lady had a Sun-Kiss beach session with me in LA last week! Morgan is an up and comming super-model, so watch out for this little rock-star! This face just screams commercial! Am I right? Whatever she’s sellin’, I’m buyin’! I had such a fun time with Miss Morgan in Long Beach (my home town, holla!) and even got her hot-momma in a few shots for a father’s day gift! What a great idea!

I got to spend the day with my awesome friend and her babies the other day. This is her new son Kyson. Isn’t he yummy!? I snapped a few images of him on my new backdrop and this was one of my favorite pictures of his sweet little face! The only problem is, I can’t decide weather I like things better in B&W or Color sometimes…what do you think? I am so indecisive. Leave a comment with your input!

I got to spend some time with two of my dearest little friends, Kortney and Kirstin! You may recognize them in many of my photo shoots! They have recently expanded their family! Meet Oliver! I think Oliver just might be the sweetest little thing I ever did see. He is such a spunky pup with the most adorable personality! …And yes, Oliver is also wearing a tutu…it doesn’t get any cuter, folks!

I got these photos in Marysville right in front of this wall I drive by every day, but never noticed! My dear friend, and these kiddos’ momma, spotted it and knew it would be perfect for our shoot! She is also my assistant photographer, so I gotta say, she’s got a great eye! And how about her fun ideas! You can’t go wrong with these vibrant colors and classic props!

I just adored these two little sisters! When I first met them at my studio for a Baby Love photo-session, they melted me immediately with these big brown and hazel eyes! Charlise was sooo ready to model and pose, I couldn’t stand it! She cracked me up the whole session! And I have to say, I felt pretty special when Charlise wanted to hold my hand everywhere we walked. Ashlyn wasn’t really diggin’ the chilly weather, although she still gave me the best shots with her gorgeous eyes and sweet smile!

Lollipops as a treat at the end of the session were a hit, until Ashlyn hit her lollipop on the ground and it shattered! SAD! Luckily, Ashlyn has a big sister that loves her so much that she shared her lollipop! TOO SWEET!

What great girls! I can’t wait to get to spend some time with them again

♥ Kyle and Sabrina are two of the most darling Valentines EVER!! These buddies hung out with me last Friday and we had the SWEETEST time! Check out these little sweeties with thier lollipops! I think this may have been the first taste of sugar for these two…and I think they are hooked already! What photogenic babies! I love the pictures we got and cannot wait to see these BFFs again!! ♥

What a fun day! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I got to spend Friday morning with these fun kiddos! We had a blast running around nearby my studio, and got some great shots of each little darling! Talk about troopers! It was not a warm, sunny day, so these guys are rockstars for putting up with me! Aren’t they awesome!?

Could two sisters be any sweeter? I think not! I had the best time with these girls! Talk about personality! I don’t know who had more fun, the the girls or me! We did this Baby Love Session right outside my studio in Downtown Snohomish on a perfect day, and got perfect images of these two doing what they do best…being adorable! I cannot wait until my next session with Montana and Safronia! I absolutely adore these sisters (mom and dad are pretty awesome too)!
